OTHER SOLUTIONS FOR PROPER WHITE TEETH
USE OF BAKING SODA (Use Once In a While)
People still prefer the age-old home remedy of baking soda and a toothbrush to gently whiten teeth at home. Also, some foods such as celery, apples, pears, and carrots trigger lots of saliva, which helps wash away food debris on your teeth. Chewing sugarless gum is a tooth-cleansing action and also triggers saliva. A bonus from all that saliva: It neutralizes the acid that causes tooth decay. With teeth, more saliva is better all around.
USE OF DENTAL FLOSS
Flossing your teeth is just as important as brushing, as it removes built up plaque, bacteria and food particles that get trapped between the teeth and which soft floppy toothbrush bristles can’t reach even when used with up/down natural motion. You should always floss before brushing your teeth so that any food or bacteria that comes loose during flossing doesn’t remain in your mouth.
- Remember to floss gently. Don’t “snap” the floss between the teeth as this can irritate sensitive gums. Ease it down gently, following the curve of each tooth.
- If you find dental floss awkward to use or you have braces, look for dental picks instead. These are small wooden or plastic sticks which you can insert between teeth, achieving the same results as flossing if spaces are large enough.
USE OF MOUTH LIQUID WASH
Some mouth cleaning liquids really helps to eradicate gingivitis, mouth odour and so on.. you could try out a product called Listerine! it’s a perfect solution for stained teeth.. Use atleast 3 times daily after meals or you could use immediately after every Brush or after you’ve taking a sugary meal.
